The CNS, METEOROLOGY AND AIS/CHARTS (CMA) Department in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for safety oversight functions with regards to the provision of Air Navigation Services in Nigeria. The Department carries out Safety Oversight functions on:
1. Aeronautical Meteorological Services.
2. Aeronautical Information Services.
3. Aeronautical Telecommunication Services.
4. Aeronautical Charts.
The units under the CMA department include:
I. CNS (Communications, Navigations and Surveillance).
II. AIS/Charts (Aeronautical information Services/Aeronautical Charts).
III. MET (Aeronautical Meteorology).
