The Directorate of Corporate Services is an integral part of the organization's support structures. It is the axis on which the various departments in the organization rely to carry out their functions and roles. The directorates of Corporate Services is strategically positioned to enable the organization carry out an effective coordination of its various operations for optimal performance and achievement of its mandate.
The Directorate of Corporate Services oversee the activities of three (3) Departments, namely;
1. Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation,
2. Research and Statistics and
3. Procurement.
PLANNING, MONITORING & EVALUATION
Assist the Authority in policy formulation and implementation.
Prepare progress report on Presidential priorities, Ministerial deliverables and other related policies.
Prepare and review the Authority’s Organogram Liaise with other directorates for their inputs on action plans and periodic activities report.
Anchor Change Management Transformation Initiatives within the Authority.
Initiates project ideas and reviews project Proposals and consultancies.
Organise and coordinate Management Retreat.
Prepare/coordinate overall yearly action plan/rolling plan for the authority.
Prepare Ministerial Reports/Assignments and Requests from other Stakeholders/Agencies.
Evaluate the Authority’s Action/Work Plan
Monitor projects and plans in accordance with the pre-determined plans, goals and objectives of the Authority.
Measures performance to ascertain conformity with the plan programme.
Suggest corrective actions to Management.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of budget implementation.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders and bodies on budget matters.
Coordinates the activities of the Budget committee.
Anchor department for ISO 31000 Certification of the Authority.
Develop and coordinate the implementation of the Authority's Strategic Development Plan.
Coordinate all reform initiatives, including reforms related to the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
RESEARCH & STATISTICS
Routine collection and processing of statistics on the internal operations of the Authority.
Preparation of Authority’s Annual Scorecard for the Ministry of Budget and National Planning
Collection and processing of statistics relating to areas of the industry, which the Authority has jurisdiction over (i.e. all stakeholders).
Liaise with other research and statistics bodies within and outside the industry.
Act as a databank for the Authority
Preparation of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Sector Annual Performance/trend report.
PROCUREMENT
Ensures compliance with the Country’s procurement laws especially as regards to setting up bidding processes and engaging the right contractors for meeting the Authority’s needs in line with Due Process as provided in the nine (9) essential steps in procurement Appropriation

Responsible for monitoring of prices of tender items;
Conducting appropriate market surveys and keeping a database of rates;
Harmonizes existing government policies and practices on public procurement to ensure probity, accountability and transparency in the procurement process of the Authority;
Analyses cost implications of the proposed procurement plan;
Involved in the development of policy guidelines on the award of contracts and setting procurement time frame;
Liaising with relevant parties to ensure seamless work progress. The parties include Contractors, Consultants and Sub-Contractors;
Prepares periodic reports/briefs to Management on the level of implementation of the year’s capital projects at different locations of the Authority;
Conducts and prepares a report of the Procurement Due Diligence of Contractors. This involves physical sighting of offices, equipment and personnel of Contractors as may be contained in their profile.
