The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to conduct an assessment of the Aerodromes to identify whether non-aeronautical ground lights or a laser emitter near the aerodrome, which may endanger the safety of aircraft, are properly shielded. Consequently, the aim of this Guidance Material is to assess the impact of any such activity and take appropriate measures to extinguish, shield or otherwise modify the hazardous non-aeronautical lights or LASER emitter near the Aerodrome which may strike pilot of an aircraft thereby endangering the safety of aircraft on or in the vicinity of an aerodrome.
