Background At the start of the COVID -19 pandemic in March 2020, the Federal Government announced the lockdown on all international travels into and local travels within Nigeria and this informed the issuance of All Operators Letter (AOL) DG008/20 on 1st April 2020 suspending all safety oversight inspections and audits by the Authority till 30th June 2020.
