NCAA LEADS, AS AVIATION AGENCIES RELOCATE TO ABUJA

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), in compliance with the directive of the Federal Government has since relocated its Corporate Headquarters to the nation’s Federal Capital, Abuja. Further to our earlier letter on Quarantine protocol for Nigerian flight crew who operate flights outside the country, we wish to inform you that the Federal Ministry of Health has approved a public health protocol to prevent the spread of the disease by flight crew members.

RELIEF ON SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE CALENDAR TASKS

The Authority has receive request in relation to the impact on calendar time intervals or deferral of calendar time intervals on base scheduled maintenance tasks as a result of aircraft storage or inability to access NCAA Approve Maintenance Organizations caused by the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.

POST COVID-19 LOCKDOWN RESTART PLAN GUIDELINES

The Federal Government on Monday 27th April 2020 announced the gradual phasing and controlled easing of the country’s lockdown especially in Ogun, Lagos and Abuja from the 4th May 2020. Following this announcement, it is important for the Civil Aviation Authority to start the process of getting the industry ready for an organized, safe, secure and efficient restart of flight operations when the nation’s airspace is reopened for business.
