I have the honour to inform all aviation stakeholders and the general public that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has concluded the rule -making process on the fourth amendment to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations which supersedes Nig.CARs 2015. The amended regulations to be cited as Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 (Nig.CARs 2023) is hereby published.

..THE PROPOSAL RELATE TO CRACKS IN STRINGERS The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing 747-8 models. According to a notice issued on April 6th, the matter relates to both 747-8i and 747–8F series aircraft.

PR DEPARTMENT HOLDS TWO-DAY RETREAT

The Public Relations Department of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) had a two-day intensive professional retreat to hone their skills. The retreat which took place between 28th and 29th April, 2023 at Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria.

THREE SENIOR MANAGERS BOW OUT OF SERVICE

Three senior Managers of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) have bowed out of service. They are Mr. Anthony Meduoye, General Manager, Service Compact -SERVICOM); Mr. Johnson Adekola, General Manager, Administration (Lagos Regional Office); and Barrister Benson Akinde, the Company Secretary.

DGCA, OTHERS CANVASS TEAM SPIRIT FOR SUSTAINABILITY OF AVIATION IN NIGERIA

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Captain Musa Shuaibu Nuhu has called for team spirit for the sustainability of aviation in Nigeria. The DGCA gave this charge at the second edition of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) National Aviation Conference (FNAC '23) with the theme “Sustainability of The Aviation Industry in Nigeria” held at International Conference Centre, Abuja.
