SERVICOM PRESIDENCY OFFICE COMMENDS NCAA FOR SERVICE DELIVERY, PROFESSIONALISM image

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on the 18th February, 2026, at its Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, received commendations by a delegation from the Service Compact (SERVICOM) Presidency Office led by its Acting National Coordinator, Mrs. Helen Lawal, on effective Service Delivery (75%), Timeliness (70%), Information (72.5%), Professionalism (72.5%) and Staff Attitude (62.5%).

This commendation was given during the formal presentation of the 2025 NCAA Service Compliance Evaluation (SCE) Reports of her eight (8) selected Regional and some station offices to the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Capt. Chris Najomo.

While receiving the reports rating NCAA’s service delivery as 4-star (****), and commending all locations (8) visited, Capt. Najomo thanked the SERVICOM for the fantastic job, assuring of NCAA's continuous improvement in the quality of services delivered to stakeholders when recommendations contained in the reports are to be implemented.

Eight (8) locations evaluated for SERVICOM Compliance were NCAA Corporate Headquarters; Abuja Regional Office; Lagos Regional Office; Port Harcourt Regional Office; Kano Regional Office; Sam Mbakwe International Airport, Owerri; Ilorin Station Office; Maiduguri Station Office; and Kaduna Regional Office.

Responding, Mrs Lawal expressed SERVICOM Presidency Office’s readiness, as a critical partner, to work in collaboration with the Authority in actualizing continuous improvement on the quality of services delivered to the citizens.

Present on the side of the NCAA to give insights to some of the issues raised were the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mr. Michael Achimugu; the Director, Human Resources and Administration, Dr (Mrs) Anastasia Gbem; and the Director, Corporate Services, Dr (Mrs) Rebecca Aghadinazu.

Others include the Special Adviser to the DGCA and Head, Flight Operations and Adjudication (FO&A), Mrs. Ifueko AbdulMalik; the NCAA Nodal Officer, Mrs. Rebecca Faderera; among other senior officers.
